Meet our Brewer
Justin brings 15 years of professional brewing expertise to Pond Hill Farm, including over a decade dedicated to the craft right here in Northwest Michigan. A graduate of the prestigious Siebel Institute of Technology with a certificate in Brewing Technology, Justin views brewing as the ultimate confluence of science, history, and creativity.
For Justin, the goal is to create exceptional refreshments to enhance the unique experience cultivated by the industrious “Pond Hill Farmily” and to share it with our community and travelers alike. While he has a deep appreciation for the technical precision required for a bright, crisp lager, their personal favorites remain the bold, hop-forward profiles of classic West Coast IPAs.
Outside of the brewhouse, Justin is a true student of nature and history. Whether he is out fishing, in the field studying mycological wonders, or at the local hockey rink, he brings that same sense of curiosity and passion for the Great Lakes region to everything he does.
